Emergency Food Bank & Clothes Closet
The Hughson Community Christian Service Center operates an Emergency Food Bank and Clothes Closet
to help individuals and families in the Hughson community who are in dire need.
These services are located at the back of the Hughson Community Center,
2413 Hughson Ave., Hughson. The front door faces Santé Fe Avenue.

These services are available in partnership with United Samaritans Foundation,
Hughson Family Resource Center and Hughson Ministerial Association.

Hours for the Emergency Food Bank – Every Monday and the 4th Thursday of the month 9 am to noon. Emergency boxes are on an as needed basis. Call the Hughson Family Resource Center at 883-2125 for more information.

- Proof of residency with the Hughson Unified School District
- Proof of income
- Referrals accepted from churches, schools and organizations
These resources are made possible because of the cash and commodity donations from Hughson individuals, businesses,
and churches and through a partnership with United Samaritan Foundation. Donations of canned fruit,
canned vegetables and soup are always accepted. Please do not bring outdated food.

Hours for the Clothes Closet – open once a week Monday afternoons from 1 pm to 3 pm and in emergency situations as needed. Call the Hughson Family Resource Center at 883-2125 for more information.

- Proof of residency with the Hughson Unified School District
- ID with some exceptions
- Referrals accepted from churches, schools and organizations
Clothes and other items have been donated by local residents.
Other items available include shoes and various household items. For information call 883-2125.

To donate clothes or household items they must be clean and in working order. Please bring donated items on Mondays
between 1 – 4 pm or any weekday 9 am to 3 pm at the south end of the back of the building.
Ring the bell so your donation can be taken inside. Please do not leave anything at the back door.
